Graduated in Nursing by the Brazilian Red Cross Nursing School (1958), Graduated in Law - Faculdades Metropoltanas Unidas (1972), Ph.D. in Public Health at the Faculty of Public Health (1984) and PhD in Nursing at the Anna Nery Nursing School Ufrj Lei 5802 of 11 9 72 Dou 12 9 72 (1974). Currently is - International Advisory Board - Japan Journal of Nursing Science and Retired Professor of the University of São Paulo. It has experience in Nursing, with emphasis on Professional Ethics of Nursing, working mainly on the following topics: nursing history, nursing research, history of nursing professionalization, nursing ethics and ethical occurrences
